The Tomb of The Unknown Soldier unites our country; it embodies what connects us and transcends our differences, helping us:

• Ensure those who served, serve, or will serve will never be forgotten, particularly those who made the ultimate sacrifice or who never returned
• Reunite America with the sense of patriotism and principles that define our national identity
• Renew a national ethic of service to our country

What We Do

Orienting our fellow men and women to the deeper meaning of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

• (On-Going) Supporting musicians whose patriotic music highlights service and sacrifice for country
• (On-Going) Supporting exhibits across the country to use the language of art to highlight service and sacrifice for country
• (Planned) Publicizing examples of others' service or sacrifice that give form and face to our Country's commitment to the dignity of man and principles memorialized in our nation’s Declaration of Independence & Constitution
• (Complete & On-Going) Funding and executing the Flower Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier's Centennial and Memorial Days
• (Complete) Supporting the Society of the Honor Guard, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier's Never Forget Garden project
• (Complete) Organizing oral history recordings of the Centennial Flower Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier by Voices of Freedom 

Unify

Bring together key officials, organizations, individuals, and media in order to benefit to those who serve and sacrifice

• (Complete) Introducing language into federal law that helps draw attention to those who serve and sacrifice for America
• (On-Going) Working to appropriately organize elements of the federal government so that our nation never forgets or forsakes those who serve and sacrifice
• (On-Going) Drawing attention to veteran needs with federal, state, and local officials

Inspire

​​Interest and motivate others to adopt the ethic and fundamental meaning of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

• (On-Going) Publicizing schedules of and encouraging attendance at the funerals of deceased Unaccompanied Veterans at Maryland Veterans Cemeteries
• (On-Going) Foundation officers attending funerals of deceased Unaccompanied Veterans at Maryland Veterans Cemeteries
• (On-Going) Publicizing veterans’ issues that require public, local, state, or federal resources and assistance for resolution
• (Planned) Identifying living Unaccompanied Veterans across America and linking them with local volunteers who maintain contact with these veterans
• (Complete)  Commemorating the service and sacrifice of our Vietnam War veterans and their families as part of the Nation's 50th Anniversary Vietnam War Commemoration
