>Never use donations to purchase goods or services from a for-profit entity with which our foundation, officers, or directors have an interest or a family relationship (e.g., We don't use donations to buy supplies from a for-profit business owned by our executive director's spouse)

1. We maintain information about donations in order to properly maintain our financial records and to file our tax documents and help you file yours.
2. Unless you tell us not to do so, we maintain contact information so that we can let you know about our activities and plans. If you tell us not to contact you about donations or our activities and plans, we won't do that.
3. We never sell, trade, or give information about our members or those who have donated to other charities or businesses. Unless you tell us not to do so, we do publicize who our members are and examples of service and sacrifice.
4. The businesses with whom we team to maintain our web and social media presence, to process donations, and perform other business functions either comply with our policies or have stricter privacy policies themselves.
